The Colorado QRP Club’s Monday night net will meet on a different Colorado Repeater Association frequency – the 145.460 (107.2 Hz tone) machine – until further notice. The time will remain the same, 8:00 pm Mountain Time.
After 35 years, the CRA is moving from its Conifer repeater site due to the construction of a new tower, and the 147.225 repeater will be temporarily out of service.
“We will temporarily shut off the Conifer repeaters on Saturday, September 16th, and return them to operation at their new site as soon as possible,” the CRA reports on its official website, W0CRA.ORG. “The location of our new site will be announced soon.”
The 145.460 repeater is located on Eldorado Mountain southwest of Boulder at an elevation of 8,300 feet. 145.460 is linked to 145.160 in Colorado Springs, so the system works as it did but without 147.225.
